OK, lets forget the formallities. You want to know about me, don't you? Well, my name is Tanya Peterson. I am originally from California, but have lived all over the US(a retired military brat and all.) When my family retired from the military, we moved to NC. I now call North Carolina my home where I live with my wonderful husband and two cats. 

I have been taking photos since I was a sophmore in high school. I am a self taught photographer with quite a different style of photography. I like to capture beauty, laughter, the true in everything. I want you to look at one of my photos and "WOW!". Isn't that what you want people to say about you, your family, your product, or a photo that you have hanging in your home?

I personally don't like photos that seem too cookie-cutter. I like different and modern. I LOVE on location shots! I feel like a person is more themselves when they are in an environment that they are comfortable. Their favorite park. Their favorite tree in  their backyard. That awesome car that they worked so hard for. Or the place where a couple had their first kiss.  Or even in their home. If a person or animal is comfortable, they tend be more them selves. Therefore, getting the pictures that the client wants.
